Ian has dedicated 8+ years of his career working to make digital products easy to use by placing content strategy at the center of the product making process. Currently, Ian works as a content strategist at Facebook crafting the user experience for News Feed. Ian has solved big hairy user experience problems as a UX design lead, content strategy manager and Sr. copywriter for brands like Expedia and Groupon. Ian believes excellent human centered design starts with content strategy and ends with high quality product experiences for real people. When he’s not at work, Ian loves spending time with his family and fishing the coastal waters of the Pacific Northwest and Canada.
