As Chief of External Affairs, Carla Costa Sandine leads communications, advocacy and policy, and philanthropy for PATH, a global public health organization working to improve care in communities around the world.
Prior to joining PATH, Carla was the Founder and President of a communications agency. Combining her career in marketing and public affairs with a focus on equity and justice, she established the agency to serve organizations and political campaigns focused on improving public health, education, transportation, human rights, and other social issues.
Previously Carla served in multiple roles with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), including Public Affairs Officer, Spokesperson, and HIV Program Outreach Manager. She was also the head of marketing for a health care recruiting firm and a digital advertising consultant.
Carla has served in board and committee roles with Social Venture Partners, Association of Fundraising Professionals, and Planned Parenthood.
