Laura is the founder and chief strategy officer of tmrw + tmrw, a strategic foresight consultancy helping organizations imagine and create what’s next. With over 25 years of experience leading strategy and innovation for clients across both corporate and social impact spaces, her work bridges applied industry practice and academic inquiry.

Laura’s research and teaching explore the intersection of emerging technology, communication, and the future of human experience. She began her career as a journalist, reporting from post-communist Prague and later becoming the first online reporter at The Seattle Times. She went on to hold senior leadership roles at agencies in the U.S. and Italy, including VML, Publicis, and Razorfish, where she led integrated strategy teams spanning brand, content, social media, analytics, and research. Her client work has included Microsoft, T-Mobile, Alaska Airlines, the Gates Foundation, and the George Lucas Educational Foundation.

She holds a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder, an M.A. in Media Studies from The New School, and a certificate in Futures Studies and Speculative Design from Parsons.
