Jui Datey (she/her) is a UX researcher at Sound Generations, a Seattle-based company that supports people on their aging journey through community connections and accessible services. As a UX researcher, Jui’s main goal is to help create a seamless user experience for visitors as they navigate the company’s website, making it as intuitive as possible.

During her time at Comm Lead, Jui developed skills in UX research, visual storytelling and video production. These experiences helped her get an internship as a UX Research Project Manager with PESB (Professional Educators Standards Board), part of Washington state’s Education Department. She also worked with the City of Seattle as a Video Content Producer. 

While pursuing her undergraduate degree in English, Jui became determined to grow as a communicator and leader, and this path brought her to Comm Lead. As a Cohort 2022 alum, her aim is to help others step outside their comfort zones and fully experience new learning opportunities.
