Chiquita Wright

Hi, I’m Chiquita Wright. I work as the Development Communications Associate at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County, where I use storytelling to uplift youth voices and keep our community informed and inspired.

I’m a proud first-generation high school and college graduate, a resilient communicator, and a strong advocate for mental wellness and equity. My lived experiences from surviving trauma to raising my siblings drive everything I do, personally and professionally.

I’m also an alum of the UW CommLead program (MCCL, Cohort 22), where I sharpened my skills in inclusive, community-centered storytelling. Right now, I’m leaning into public speaking, sharing authentic stories about leadership, healing, and navigating life’s messiness with honesty and hope.

Outside of work, I’m raising two amazing kids and building Our PR, a heart-led business focused on representation, relationships, and community-building.
