As part of the University of Washington’s Department of Communication, our students can access many academic and professional resources, including rooms to work on projects, meetings or study sessions and loans of equipment to support media production.

Computer Labs 

If you need to edit, lay out a graphic design, or do statistical work, head to one of the PC and Mac labs to use our state-of-the-art software.

Equipment Checkout 

Rent the latest mirrorless camera, VR equipment, lighting kits, and other technology to help elevate your projects. 

CMU 318A: Reserve equipment

Video & Audio Recording 

The video recording suite in CMU 222C includes lighting, green screen, live-mixing equipment and and an isolated audio booth. Review the schedule and email reboot@uw.edu for the access code and authorization to use the space.
