Wendi has two decades of experience creating, nurturing, knitting, and leading stakeholder collaborations for nonprofit, for profit and public sector organizations. Currently she is the Global Executive Director for Asinta, a business development partnership of for profit firms from 56 countries.

At Asinta, Wendi leads partner management, operations, strategic planning, internal communications, and digital marketing. This requires relationship building, diplomacy and communication skills. Wendi is fluent in hearing the meanings and struggles behind people’s words and discovering how to remove challenges that stand in their way. She is practiced at gauging, navigating, and organizing people into working relationships and constantly working across professional and cultural borders.

Prior to Asinta, Wendi worked for Avista Development. She helped build community consensus, trust and support for a multi-million dollar urban renewal and economic development project in downtown Spokane, “Steam Plant Square.”

Wendi was in Communication Leadership’s first Communities and Networks cohort (13) and received her BA in Political Science, Latin American Studies from the University of Washington, where she was a Mary Gates scholar.
