Jill has a decade of experience promoting arts and culture in Seattle. She currently works for the University of Washington’s College of Arts & Sciences, creating content and providing strategic communications guidance for the Arts and Humanities divisions. She also spearheads marketing and audience engagement for ArtsUW.

Prior to joining the College, she spent eight years at the Seattle Symphony, holding a variety of positions on the communications and audience development teams. She has a particular interest in multimedia storytelling, content strategy and visual communications — and a soft spot for a well­crafted infographic. Jill received her BA in music performance from Whitman College.

When she’s not on campus, you can find Jill playing her violin with a community orchestra, reading cold­war spy novels, learning Portuguese or testing out a new banana bread recipe.
