Screen Summit

Every June, the Communication Leadership graduate program at the University of Washington hosts its signature “Screen Summit” event, where students present superlative work on the screen of their choice (TV, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) to end the academic year.

This is a wonderful opportunity to bring together our community broadly as we toast this rich community — advisors and faculty, current students and alumni, family and friends — and recognize the remarkable students and their work, which is the heart and soul of our program.

The event has a bit of a “science fair” feel to it: students who wish to showcase their work will set up shop while attendees can mix and mingle, asking questions, swapping ideas, and learning more about the exciting student work. We also award graduating students who have made particular contributions over their time in the program in the realms of creativity, leadership, story and community.
