All registration transactions for Comm Lead students are processed through UW Professional & Continuing Education Registration Services (not through MyUW). UW PCE Registration Services is your point of contact for adding and dropping classes and paying tuition and fees, which are due when registering.
If you have been admitted to the Communication Leadership program, you will receive an email telling you how to register for courses approximately one week before registration begins. Note: international students must be enrolled full-time except for their last quarter in the program, in which they may take only 5 credits. All other students may elect to attend on a part-time basis (be enrolled for less than the 10 credit quarterly minimum required for full-time student status).
If approved, you may take up to 10 credits in graduate non-matriculated (GNM) status, which provides access to graduate courses for those who are not currently seeking a graduate degree, but who may later want to apply these credits toward the MCDM, MCCN, or another graduate degree. GNM students are required to meet the Graduate School’s minimum eligibility requirements. Competitive GNM students will be admitted on a space-available basis. Applications are submitted via the Graduate School website, and are due one month prior to the quarter’s start date.
