This course — designed and taught by faculty from the University of Washington’s award-winning Communication Leadership Master’s program — takes a holistic approach, helping communication and marketing professionals prepare for the future by providing a framework to incorporate emerging AI tools into your workflow.

You’ll use conversational AI to enhance your brand’s storytelling, develop creative campaigns, write creative briefs, and analyze data. You’ll have the feedback and support of experienced industry leaders. You’ll leave the course with a clear understanding of responsible AI principles and best practices, ready to put the tools to work for you.
Course Schedule
This course is offered 100% online and runs from September 16, 2024, to November 1, 2024.
Optional real-time networking and support sessions will be held online on Thursdays, September 26, 2024, and October 17, 2024, from 7–9 p.m. (Pacific Time).
Including time in class, you should expect to spend about five to seven hours each week on coursework.
Admission Requirements
To register, you must have ONE of the following:
- A bachelor’s degree plus one year of work experience in communication, marketing or a related field
- Two years of college plus three years of work experience, with at least one year being in communication, marketing or a related field
English Proficiency

International Students
