Every June, the Communication Leadership graduate program at the University of Washington hosts its signature “Screen Summit” event, where students present superlative work on the screen of their choice (TV, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) to end the academic year.

This year, Comm Lead will partner with Extreme Arts and Sciences, an agency that trains leaders on the art of presentation and runs a speaking competition program called “Speaker’s Edge.” Together, they will host a competition for students who seek to present at the Screen Summit. Leading up to this capstone event, this group of “Communication Leaders” will compete to be chosen as the top three presenters for the evening of Friday, June 13.

Along the way, all participating students will receive unparalleled training and career-enhancing feedback from a panel of industry experts. Judges include representatives from leading communication and technology companies like Weber Shandwick, Google, Zillow, Smashing Ideas, and also Communication alumna Libby Catalinich (B.A., 1982).

Join them as they celebrate and share this unique thought leadership with the community.
